Alistair was born on the 1st November 1977, and comes from a little village in North Yorkshire.
Alistair attended Danby Primary School, from there went on to the Eskdale School in Whitby, then carried on further Education at Whitby Community College, then went onto study English Literature and History at St.Johns University in York.
During his time in York Alistair spent many an hour busking in the City centre, outside the famous Bettys Tea Rooms.
Alistair also worked as a milk man, but as far as we know the end of that goes something like this, he crashed the milk float and lost a few (56) pints of milk in the process. Woops .......
If Alistair has any spare time he likes to play football, the odd game of cricket - he's a member of the Bunburys celebrity cricket team, enjoys crazy golf at Arnold Palmers in Whitby on West Cliff and enjoys a spot of tennis, but usually gets beaten by his mam. Alistair's favourite band is Oasis and his favourite song is The Long and Winding Road by The Beatles - What can we say, the lad has taste. He's also a life long supporter of Middlesbrough Football Club - 'up the Boro' and all that.
Alistair has been in a few bands Sugar Town and Ultra being two. At the age of 22 he performed at party in the park in Leeds, which included stars such as Atomic Kitten.
In 2003 Alistair auditioned for Fame Academy and won over the public by singing 'Back for Good' and was voted in. Over the weeks the public saw his true talents for song writing and singing, and carried on to support him. Alistair came second in fame Academy to Alex Parks.
The first single Alistair released was 'Bring It On' / 'My Lovers Prayer' a duet with Robin Gibb on the 29th December 2003 and went to number 5.
On 12th January 2004 Alistair released his debute album entitled 'Bring It On' - If you haven't got it WHY! it's brilliant, also still available from HMV, Amazon, Music Zone, and to be diplomatic all other leading music retailers, It includes 10 self written songs.
On 15th March 2004 Alistair released his second single 'You and Me (Tonight)' This went to number 18.
Since then Alistair has done gigs up and down the country and also has a back up band that play at most of his live gigs, known as Riccardi. These gigs were brilliant the first half an acoustic set with mate Simon Waggott aka Waggo, and then the second half was rocked up.
Alistair has also performed in France at the Worlds Best Competition and sang with Phil Collins, toured Germany and supported Robin Gibb, had three concerts of his own in Middlesbrough, York and Whitby.
He has also done loads of charity gigs Missing Miles in York outside the Minster, Clapham Grand London Missing Miles for the National Missing Persons Helpline, Children in Need concert at the Theatre Royal in York, played and performed at the Cliff Richard Tennis Classic at the NIA in Birmingham, Whitby Tsunami appeal, A bit of a 'do' in Danby, this was also for the Tsunami appeal, along with various other things.
Over the past 3 years Alistair has continued to put in the hard work and is now working on his second album.
Anyway like they say the rest is history...............so keep checking back to see what this guy is upto.
